Reflection

I went on my walk a few days ago.  Anyways, the sun was out.  The breez was soft and not so chilly.  It was a perfect walk.  I took pictures of trees, the sun in between the naked branches, and flowers.  I also tick picutres of puddles with reflections of trees or me.  I took a few other pictures of my shadow.  I took a few pictures of the sun's rays stretching over the water and the moutain shourded with white clouds.  I love walking around my neighborhood.  I feel at ease, take my time, no pressure, relieve stress, and talk to God.  I wish I could do that more often.  Maybe when I am in college I'll have more time.
Anyways, walks help me physically, mentally, and spiritually relax.  Everyday, God paints a new beautiful scene.  The picutre will never be the same.  In other words, tomorrow is different picutre.  God never makes dupicates.  Going on walks just shows me how creative God is and His plan for me is unique.  God is unfathomable in all dimensions.

The Positive Project (Extension)

I plan to carry out my project tonight or tomorrow.  I decided to write letters to my neighbors.  Tell them how thankful I am for them to be involved in my life.  I need a computre and paper.  After I type out my letters, I would knock on the doors and hand the letters to them.  IF they are not home, then I would put them in their mailbox or some where that they can easily find it.  I think when I tell them how thankful I am for them, that they will continue to show their love and affection towards other kids and families as they have shown towards me.

Used the 3rd Prompt/ Short Story

Everything was perfectly still.  Not a sound was made.  Only the wind as it bristled through the leaves and trees.  It had rained the previous night and as the wind whisked by, raindrops would fall off the leaves and land on the ground or small mud puddles.  Again, not a sound was made.  Fog began to creep in.  The white mist began to cover up images.  Soon trees and bushes, and the grass began to disappear.  The forest slowly camouflaged with the white surrounding.  It looked like as she was walking on clouds.  The wind blew gently. It blew in the girl’s face.  She could barely see anything. Crunch! Crunch as she stepped on leaves or pine cones.  She could only see the dirt, leaves, acorns, pine cones, or pine needles as she took a step at a time.  She looked down hoping to find what she needed.  Occasionally she would look up and make sure nothing was coming her way.  Her long black wavy hair was pulled into a pony tail and it swished every time she moved her head.  It reached all the way down her back.  She wore a black trench coat, black sunglasses, black boots, black gloves, and a belt holding her long gun, bullets, grenades, and a few daggers.  She clicked a button on the side of her glasses and the lenses became high tech binoculars.  She could zoom in on an image, observe objects from a far or close range, and could find movement.  She scanned the mist and looked back down on the ground.  At last she found some fresh shoe prints engraved into the soil, but they weren’t the type of shoe she was following in the first place.  She clicked a button on her ear piece and recorded, “Ray, I found shoe prints, but not the ones I’ve been following.  I took a picture of the shoe prints and just sent you the images.”
“You, mean it’s not Garnish’s?”
“Yeah, unless his feet shrunk to girl size shoe.  He must be trying to ambush or pull some trick on me.  I won’t fall into it.  I never do.”
“Yeah, Ace, from your pictures, those are not Garnish’s shoe prints.  Well, you better start running in order to found out who this person is.  Maybe the person can lead us to Garnish’s headquarters.”
“Maybe, I’ll talk to ya later,” she responded as she turned off the head piece.
She began to run and looked down at the prints to follow the tracks.  They led her out of the fog into a picturesque meadow.  The grass was lush and green.  The wildflowers were gorgeous and the whole meadow was beyond imagining.  She readjusted her glasses and saw a faint object in the distance.  She quickened her pace and began to gain on the runner.  The runner led her into a marsh.  The soil was very muddy and damp.  There was light fog but her surroundings were fairly visible.  She shouted, “Come out and fight Garnish!  Be a man and step up!”
A feminine voice replied, “You’re a bit too late.  He caught a ride to our base.”
Her voice sounded familiar to the girl, “Come and show yourself.”  Ace looked around and searched to trees and caught a glimpse of a figure resting on a very high tree branch.
The figure stood up, walked across the branch, jumped down and walked in Ace’s direction until she was within a couple yards away.  Ace’s expression was priceless.  She couldn’t believe what she was seeing.   The figure wore the same clothing and the physical appearance looked similar to Ace.  “Surprised, I know.”
“How were they able to make…” Ace stuttered.
“Make a clone of you.  It’s a secret.  I guess you will never find out.”  She smirked and paced to and fro.
“You’re the one who’s been causing trouble.  You’re the one who’s been stealing banks, ruining my life, and my identity of who I am.”
“Actually Garnish is.”
“Whatever, tell me where the base is.  I don’t want to fight you.”
“You’re not going to get the answer.  You’ll have to fight me.”
“Alright, if that’s the only way to protect my family and the rest of the community, I’ll do whatever it takes.”
“Very well.  Just so you, know I’ve been watching you.  So don’t think I’m like any other weakling opponent that you have faced.”  She stopped pacing and clenched her fist.  All of her knuckles cracked.
Ace stood there and waited for her opponent to make the first move. Sure enough the clone made a dash towards Ace.  The clone tried to punch Ace but Ace grabbed her hand and twisted it around the clone’s back.  Just as Ace was about to kick the clone, the clone hit Ace with the back of her head and the Ace’s grasp released the clone.  Ace stumbled a bit but was still on her feet.  The clone this time ran and swiped Ace’s feet right underneath her.  The clone was about to kick Ace in the face, but Ace rolled and got to her feet.  Ace punched at the clone’s face, but the clone dogged it.  Then Ace made a combination of a punch, punch, kick.  The clone dogged one punched but missed the other punch and kick.  The clone backed away and then made her move.  They both punched and kicked each other.  The clone received a might kick in the face and her sunglasses fell off; Ace received a rock solid punch to the stomach.  The clone spit some blood out of her mouth while Ace coughed and catch her breath.  The clone was dizzy and couldn’t quite focus.  The clone hit a button on her watch and a noise appeared.  Ace looked up and saw a helicopter.  The clone hit Ace in the head, but Ace turned around, grabbed the clone’s trench coat as the clone jumped to a tree limb.  The clone fell down, but quickly wriggled out of the trench coat, and continued to jump from tree limb to tree limb to reach the helicopter.  Ace watched for she could not do that.  She threw down the trench coat.  It was drenched with perspiration.  Then she saw something hanging out of one of the pockets.  She pushed a button on her glasses, “Hey, Ray, I found something.”
“Did you find out who the person was?”
“Yeah, you wouldn’t believe me.”
“Try me.”
“I met a clone…of me.”
“What, you found the person who causing all the trouble and you have proof that it wasn’t you.”
“Sort of.  Hey, I have book.  I think it’s some sort of journal.  It has pictures and writings.”
“Pictures of what?”
“Pictures of me!”  She sounded alarmed and continued talking, “This creep has been observing me every since I was born.  He’s been watching me grow, go to school, and everything.  Wait, the only way, a scientist can make a clone, is by using DNA.  I must have known him or he must have known me when I was kid.  He must have taken some of my DNA and created a clone of me.  He knows everything about me, while I have no clue who I am.”
“Well, you’re certainly piecing the puzzle together.  I’m sending a helicopter to your coordinates to pick you up.  Even though you didn’t catch the clone, at least you have the journal. Looks like you found a good place to start you search for this mysterious man.  You do know who you are, you are the best agent ever.  You know about your parents…  ”
“I mean my birth parents.  I only know bits and pieces of the puzzle to my life, not everything.  Journal or no journal, I could have done better.  He probably made that clone as a distraction.”  She kept skimming through the journal.
“You did well.  You made progress.  Ace, don’t get down on yourself for not defeating the clone.  The journal will help you discover who you are and who the man is.”
“Still, it wasn’t good enough.” She turned off the ear piece, closed the journal, and walked back to the meadow.  She paced in the vibrant green grass surrounded by colorful flowers as she waited for the helicopter.

The story is kind of personal story.  I am Ace and Ace has the whole mysterious identity issue going on.  She doesn’t really know who she is and this man name Garnish is making her life miserable.  Garnish means to adore and beautiful but not everyone thinks of themselves from the inside out beautiful.  I have hard time defeating that challenge.  Ace is always harsh on herself, saying that she could have done better.  I say that either on a test or sports and most of the time it’s true.  I could have done better studying or practicing or pushing myself.  The name Ace means to do well and I try my best in everything just like Ace did her best to bring down the clone but she failed.  Sometimes I have hard time accepting failure.  Ray is her accountability friend, and he tries to help her out, but she thinks she doesn’t really need his help, but she does.  I always try to do almost everything on my own.  The clone is me, but my obstinate side.  The clone is exactly like Ace in physical sense but not in heart sense.  Clones do not have emotions as humans do.  I tend to hide my emotions and act tough because I’ve been taught not let things go to your head and I hold in my emotions.  Ace fights herself and the journal she discovers, she learns more about herself and who she is.  I guess, overall, my challenges that I’ve been facing all of my life is uncovering who I am, opening my emotions up, accept who I am, and learn to trust and ask others for help.  I cannot do everything on my own.  Everything of who I was, was very foggy and then it became clear of who I was.  Sometimes I get into the doubt and uncertain areas of my life, but God leads me back to the green meadow where I do know who I am.  I’m learning to defeat myself yet, rediscover who I am.

Research Essay First 2 Paragraphs

Research Paper
There are people that question why bad things happen to good people.  Also, some people wonder how Christians can believe in a God that is good if He lets bad things happen to Christians or other good people.  Or how can Christians worship the God in the Bible that commanded people to slaughter other people.  For example in the Bible, God told Moses and his brother that they could not go into the Promise Land because Moses struck the rock out of anger instead of speaking to it.  God commanded Moses to talk to the rock and water would come out, but Moses was fed up the Israelites and struck the rock twice.  God was angry with Moses and his brother because they did not believe in Him and therefore forbidden to enter into the Promise Land.  Another example is when God let Terrorists crash into the Twin Towers and many people died and lost families.  Some of the things that God lets happen does not make sense.
We all wonder why God does what He does or lets things happen.  God punished the Israelites by exile, enslavement, and defeats at battles.  Some people think that Hurricane Katrina was God’s judgment on the city.  God’s way of justice or judgment is hard to distinguish.  Does God punish out of anger or love or both?  How can we make sense of God through the examples throughout the Bible and past or present events?

Qualitative analysis of your type formula
You are:
very expressed introvert
slightly expressed sensing personality
slightly expressed feeling personality
slightly expressed judging personality

This is my type.  I took the personality quiz twice.  I do not think that the quiz is accurate because on some of the questions or statements I could have answerd yes or no.  I am not sure if the test describes me or not.  I do not really express my emotions physically but when I write you can tell what I am feeling.  I am not quite sure about the introvert, sensing, and judging description.  I do not think that tests can describe what type you are because we change throughout the years and our opinions, thoughtts, and the way we think all change.  It was fun to fill out and see what reuslts were but I do not agree with most of them.

Guardian Portrait of the Protector (ISFJ) by David Keirsey
We are lucky that Protectors make up as much as ten percent the population, because their primary interest is in the safety and security of those they care about - their family, their circle of friends, their students, their patients, their boss, their fellow-workers, or their employees. Protectors have an extraordinary sense of loyalty and responsibility in their makeup, and seem fulfilled in the degree they can shield others from the dirt and dangers of the world. Speculating and experimenting do not intrigue Protectors, who prefer to make do with time-honored and time-tested products and procedures rather than change to new. At work Protectors are seldom happy in situations where the rules are constantly changing, or where long-established ways of doing things are not respected. For their part, Protectors value tradition, both in the culture and in their family. Protectors believe deeply in the stability of social ranking conferred by birth, titles, offices, and credentials. And they cherish family history and enjoy caring for family property, from houses to heirlooms.
Wanting to be of service to others, Protectors find great satisfaction in assisting the downtrodden, and can deal with disability and neediness in others better than any other type. They are not as outgoing and talkative as the Provider Guardians [ESFJs], and their shyness is often misjudged as stiffness, even coldness, when in truth Protectors are warm-hearted and sympathetic, giving happily of themselves to those in need.
Their reserve ought really to be seen as an expression of their sincerity and seriousness of purpose. The most diligent of all the types, Protectors are willing to work long, hard hours quietly doing all the thankless jobs that others manage to avoid. Protectors are quite happy working alone; in fact, in positions of authority they may try to do everything themselves rather than direct others to get the job done. Thoroughness and frugality are also virtues for them. When Protectors undertake a task, they will complete it if humanly possible. They also know better than any other type the value of a dollar, and they abhor the squandering or misuse of money. To save, to put something aside against an unpredictable future, to prepare for emergencies-these are actions near and dear to the Protector's heart. For all these reasons, Protectors are frequently overworked, just as they are frequently misunderstood and undervalued. Their contributions, and also their economies, are often taken for granted, and they rarely get the gratitude they deserve.
Mother Teresa, George H.W. Bush, Jimmy Stewart, and Tsar Nicholas II are examples of Protector Guardian style.

Introverted Sensing Feeling Judging
by Marina Margaret Heiss

Profile: ISFJ
Revision: 3.1
Date of Revision: 20 Aug 2007

ISFJs are characterized above all by their desire to serve others, their "need to be needed." In extreme cases, this need is so strong that standard give-and-take relationships are deeply unsatisfying to them; however, most ISFJs find more than enough with which to occupy themselves within the framework of a normal life. (Since ISFJs, like all SJs, are very much bound by the prevailing social conventions, their form of "service" is likely to exclude any elements of moral or political controversy; they specialize in the local, the personal, and the practical.)

ISFJs are often unappreciated, at work, home, and play. Ironically, because they prove over and over that they can be relied on for their loyalty and unstinting, high-quality work, those around them often take them for granted--even take advantage of them. Admittedly, the problem is sometimes aggravated by the ISFJs themselves; for instance, they are notoriously bad at delegating ("If you want it done right, do it yourself"). And although they're hurt by being treated like doormats, they are often unwilling to toot their own horns about their accomplishments because they feel that although they deserve more credit than they're getting, it's somehow wrong to want any sort of reward for doing work (which is supposed to be a virtue in itself). (And as low-profile Is, their actions don't call attention to themselves as with charismatic Es.) Because of all of this, ISFJs are often overworked, and as a result may suffer from psychosomatic illnesses.
In the workplace, ISFJs are methodical and accurate workers, often with very good memories and unexpected analytic abilities; they are also good with people in small-group or one-on-one situations because of their patient and genuinely sympathetic approach to dealing with others. ISFJs make pleasant and reliable co-workers and exemplary employees, but tend to be harried and uncomfortable in supervisory roles. They are capable of forming strong loyalties, but these are personal rather than institutional loyalties; if someone they've bonded with in this way leaves the company, the ISFJ will leave with them, if given the option. Traditional careers for an ISFJ include: teaching, social work, most religious work, nursing, medicine (general practice only), clerical and and secretarial work of any kind, and some kinds of administrative careers.
While their work ethic is high on the ISFJ priority list, their families are the centers of their lives. ISFJs are extremely warm and demonstrative within the family circle--and often possessive of their loved ones, as well. When these include Es who want to socialize with the rest of the world, or self-contained ITs, the ISFJ must learn to adjust to these behaviors and not interpret them as rejection. Being SJs, they place a strong emphasis on conventional behavior (although, unlike STJs, they are usually as concerned with being "nice" as with strict propriety); if any of their nearest and dearest depart from the straight-and-narrow, it causes the ISFJ major embarrassment: the closer the relationship and the more public the act, the more intense the embarrassment (a fact which many of their teenage children take gleeful advantage of). Over time, however, ISFJs usually mellow, and learn to regard the culprits as harmless eccentrics :-). Needless to say, ISFJs take infinite trouble over meals, gifts, celebrations, etc., for their loved ones--although strong Js may tend to focus more on what the recipient should want rather than what they do want.
Like most Is, ISFJs have a few, close friends. They are extremely loyal to these, and are ready to provide emotional and practical support at a moment's notice. (However, like most Fs they hate confrontation; if you get into a fight, don't expect them to jump in after you. You can count on them, however, run and get the nearest authority figure.) Unlike with EPs, the older the friendship is, the more an ISFJ will value it. One ISFJ trait that is easily misunderstood by those who haven't known them long is that they are often unable to either hide or articulate any distress they may be feeling. For instance, an ISFJ child may be reproved for "sulking," the actual cause of which is a combination of physical illness plus misguided "good manners." An adult ISFJ may drive a (later ashamed) friend or SO into a fit of temper over the ISFJ's unexplained moodiness, only afterwards to explain about a death in the family they "didn't want to burden anyone with." Those close to ISFJs should learn to watch for the warning signs in these situations and take the initiative themselves to uncover the problem.
Functional Analysis

by Joe Butt

Introverted Sensing

As for ISTJs, the dominant Si is oriented toward the world of forms, essences, generics. Again, "for both of the IS_J types, the sense of propriety comes from the clear definition of these internal forms. ... A 'proper' chair has four legs," etc. (Jung saw IS as something of an oxymoron: sensing, which is a perceiving function, focused inward and thus away from that which is perceived (the "object"). In this light, he described this sensing as something removed from reality, full of archetypes/mythical figures/hobgoblins; sensing of one's own set of forms.)

Extraverted Feeling

A kind of "regression toward the mean" provided by the Fe auxiliary function serves to socialize the expression of these forms. I suppose it's the auxiliary nature of this Feeling, coupled with the balancing effect of {detachment from the internal idiosyncratic view of free-floating data perceptions} that makes ISFJs tentative, conservative, and reticent to boldly state the rights and wrongs in the relational world. (Loosely translated, ISFJs like to keep their perceptions to themselves, and aren't sure enough that what they "see" as Introverted Sensors has any relevance to the outside world. Thus the perception, based on unworldly data, may not be true. The obedient Extraverted Feeling function must therefore refrain from strong statements expressing these opinions.)

Introverted Thinking

Introverted Thinking is turned inward and is largely invisible. It is only with great difficulty, if at all, that the ISFJ could willingly commit anyone to their doom. Perhaps this explains why ISFJs are loyal to the end; there is no sense of purely objective (i.e., impersonal) judgement of anyone but themselves (and that only by their own standards). Here is this type's achilles heel that makes many of them so vulnerable to

Extraverted iNtuition

ISFJs are easily undone by Extraverted iNtuition, their inferior function. Believing in the fantastic, and disbelieving the technologically extant, are errors that my guide the gullible (or unfoundedly sceptical) ISFJ off a precipice of mis-conclusion. (One of our co-workers' mothers adamantly refused to believe that Dave Letterman's mom was actually at the olympics in Norway talking with the athletes and handing out hams! She suspected technological trickery.)
This childlike Ne is, however, the likely source (coupled with fun-loving Extraverted Feeling) of the practical joking, punning and (usually harmless) impishness of some ISFJs.

ISFJ
ISFJs place a great deal of importance on their personal relationships. They're generally very giving and loving people, who place the needs of others above their own. They sometimes have a problem with becoming overly emotionally needy, and with keeping their true feelings hidden from others. They take their commitments very seriously, and seek lifelong relationships. ISFJs are extremely dependable, and put forth a lot of energy into keeping things running smoothly. They sometimes have difficulty saying "no" when asked to do something, and therefore may be taken for granted.
ISFJ Strengths
·         Warm, friendly and affirming by nature
·         Service-oriented, wanting to please others
·         Good listeners
·         Will put forth lots of effort to fulfill their duties and obligations
·         Excellent organizational capabilities
·         Good at taking care of practical matters and daily needs
·         Usually good (albeit conservative) at handling money
·         Take their commitments seriously, and seek lifelong relationships
ISFJ Weaknesses
·         Don't pay enough attention to their own needs
·         May have difficulty branching out into new territory
·         Extreme dislike of conflict and criticism
·         Unlikely to express their needs, which may cause pent-up frustrations to build inside
·         Have difficulty leaving a bad relationship
·         Have difficulty moving on after the end of a relationship
ISFJs in Love
ISFJs are committed to their relationships. They have very intense feelings, which is not immediately apparent to others because they tend to hold things inside themselves without expressing them, unless they have a strong reason to do so. Their intensity of feeling makes their intimate relationship their first priority in life, with the possible exception of God. They seek monogamous, lifelong commitments, and can be depended upon to be faithful and loyal to their mates once they have made a commitment.
ISFJs have a difficult time leaving a relationship which is bad, or accepting that a relationship is over. They tend to put all of the blame on their own shoulders, and wonder what they should have done to make things work out. If they have been loyal to their vows and have done their duties, they will be at a complete loss as to what went wrong, and will have great difficulty accepting the end. They are "true blue" lovers, and may even remain faithful to their deceased partners.
ISFJs tend to be very selfless, and to put the needs of others well before their own needs. This may backfire on them, if they get into a situation in which they are taken advantage of, and do not have a good outlet for their strong emotions. In this kind of situation, the ISFJ might bottle up their feelings inside them, and form strong resentments against others. The ISFJ should work on recognizing their own needs, and place some importance on meeting them, rather than always putting the needs of others first. After all, if you can't take care of yourself, how can take care of someone else?
Romantically, the ISFJ sees intimacy as a tangible way of strengthening their relationship bonds. They also see as something of a duty, and are likely to be more interested in serving their partner than in their own personal satisfaction. Although the ISFJ is not likely to be very wordy about expressing their love and affection, they're likely to do so through their deeds, and will deeply value their partner's responding affirmations.
The ISFJ is very warm and selfless. They'll put forth tremendous amounts of energy and time into doing what they feel is ther duty. What makes them feel best about themselves is when others show them their appreciation of the ISFJ. Consequently, the best gift that the partner of an ISFJ can give them is the expression of their love and appreciation.
ISFJs have difficulty with conflict situations, and would much prefer to just sweep things under the rug. Sometimes facing a conflict situation helps to resolve it, and the ISFJ should realize that the world will not end if they face the conflict, and express how they feel about it. A conflict situation is not necessarily a "problem" which needs to be gotten rid of, and it is also not necessarily the ISFJ's fault. It's a common problem for ISFJ's to not express their feelings until pushed to some limit, after which they explode in anger and say things which they later feel they shouldn't have said. These kinds of outbursts can be reduced by expressing their feelings on a more regular basis, rather than keeping them pent up inside.
In general, the ISFJ is usually a traditional, family-minded individual who places the comfort of their mates and families as their first priority in life. They're great for providing for everyday basic needs, and have a depth of caring which is very unusual, and not found in most types. They highly invested in the health of their relationships, and will work very hard to make things run smoothly. They are dependable and affectionate lovers.

Test blog post

God turns something bad into something good.  It's our choice to see it in a negative or positive way.  We will never understand why God does what He does.  We can only undertand so much.  If we tried to understand everything, then we are trying to become like God.  Yes, we are made in His image and we are to live like Jesus did, but we do not need know everything.  If we did, then we would have so much stress on our lives.  We would not be able to handle all of that knowledge.  Our brains would explode.  God only gives us what we can handle.
